As part of our ongoing efforts to provide environmentally friendly product solutions and processes, we are proud to introduce new packaging for our cable and pipe grommets (gaskets), which will now come in re-sealable bags made from sustainable, 100% FSC-certified paper. This packaging is fully recyclable. From mid-2025, we aim to ship all our sealing grommets in these new paper pouches.

Advantages of the new packaging
-
Environmental protection thanks to the use of 100% FSC-certified paper. FSC certification confirms that the paper used is sourced from responsibly managed forests that adhere to certain ecological and social standards.
-
The switch away from plastic packaging reduces waste and minimizes the overall ecological footprint of the products.
-
The new packaging protects these high-quality sealing grommets against dirt and damage, whether in the warehouse, during transport or on site.
-
These paper pouches are re-sealable, meaning that each bag can be closed and stored for re-use after the grommet has been removed from it.
-
The new packaging is fully recyclable and can thus be re-introduced into the material cycle. This saves on valuable resources and helps to support sustainable disposal solutions.
Social responsibility: cooperation with organisations that work with people with disabilities

Sustainability at pro clima is not just confined to ecological goals, but also extends to social responsibility. In the production of our sealing grommets, we collaborate with organisations that support people with disabilities. In this way, we help to promote social inclusion and involve all members of the community in valuable economic activity.
We take our commitment to using green, sustainable packaging very seriously. For this reason, we strive to use environmentally friendly solutions: plain brown cardboard boxes that don't require bleaching, avoiding unnecessary plastic wrapping whenever possible, reducing paper consumption by using downloadable installation instructions and switching to digital documents, and opting for cartridge containers made from 100% PCRs (post-consumer-recycled plastics sources from previously used materials).
Going forward, we will continue to make every effort to further reduce our environmental footprint.
